my music theory is poor and my geometry even worse, so i'm wondering if this shiz makes sense to any wizzle-wozzle around here.
i mean, does this mean that a bunch of other irrational numbers and notable equations can also be turned in to excellent music...?

i wouldn't say this is excellent music... his just assigning numbers to the scale and playing it with his right hand whilst making a harmony according to the numbers.
But to answer the question, a bunch of irrational numbers can be turned into music if you decide to assign values as keys and play them accordingly with the right harmony.

@eriX,
thank you. repped.
as long as there is a pattern anything can be called music.
well, duh.
the reason i posted this is because i doubt it usually works out very well given a value-to-note relationship.
also, because some of the big shots in music consistently say there is an elusive, mathematical aspect to music.
