Any idea or guess on how much money the league has spent on promoting Bron since the start of his NBA career?

No idea. However, whatever the sum, it was money well spent. NBA television ratings have soared in the LeBron era.

This. Look at that new salary cap. Other NBA players should be  to Bron.

The decision was the best thing that ever happened to the league after Jordan superstardom.

Actually LeBron was in the finals with the worst ratings in history and most of the finals he's been in have been bad compared to pre 2002. More like....thank you Steph Curry.

This.

Also, I don't know the actual figures so this could backfire badly if someone does, but I would guess that a lot more money was spent promoting Jordan and shoving him down our throats than was spent on Lebron, particularly accounting for inflation.

I don't know the figures either, but even if this was the case, it was money far better spent.

Debatable. Jordan is a better player, make no mistake, but hard to say it was "far better spent" when the ratings are higher now than they were then.

The marketing of the individual, however, was much more successful. :lol
