It's a retarded article. It's based on 3-year projected WARP or some shit. ESPN constantly finds ways to misuse advanced metrics. They actually used that dumbass stat to make this list, saw Minnesota at #15, and still decided the article was worthy of publishing. It's a joke.

I can't believe people actually pay for this shit.

Throw out the Anthony Davis on the Pelicans and they really don't have a young core. But they are probably the best team for next year out of all the young teams because of Davis.

But the "young" team that I think is the best is Utah. I would not have said that had they not found Gobert. But Gobert for that team going forward is the missing puzzle piece. A center that is active defensively and can improve offensively.

Boston is way too high, Orlando way too low.

Toronto being top 10 is ridiculous. They're best young piece is Jonas, a poor man's Vucevic.

The top 3 is actually decent. Bucks are the best team going forward, but AD is the best player by far. From there though it gets dumb.

No their headed straight to the lottery for at least the next 2 years. They are basically going to have to wait and see if the Clarkson/Randle/Russel core works out because they won't have their pick this year most likely.

Orlando is so underrated.

Vucevic will be a top 3 center this year, kid has all the moves.
Problem is his defence at the rim. If someone like Aaron Gordon can become a shot blocker then Vucevic will be thought of more favourably as he isn't a terrible defender but it's a glaring weakness when he has a guy like Frye next to him.

You're...joking, right?

If NBA teams were allowed to re-draft last years draft both Clarkson and Randle would be top 5 picks.

This year they drafted the player with the highest ceiling in Russell. AND added a legit 3/D guy in Anthony Brown, a guy with an NBA pedigree and an unstoppable motor in Nance Jr and lastly they signed a 7 footer with defensive instincts rarely seen in today's game aka Upshaw. That's a very nice young core.

Sad little troll. While by no means are they stars, or even world beaters by any stretch of imagination - to call that young core dumpster fire speaks more about your sad little troll attempt than anything else. Makes you sound like a mid 20's fat little internet troll. IF that doesn't describe you, then you really are failing as that is the impression you give.

Learn to troll better, the point isn't to sound a fool when trolling. Amateurish.

Lakers have some young pieces that show promise. Depending on their growth and future moves once the albatross of Kobe's contract comes off, the Lakers could have a good future. At least the LA Lakers know how to build championship rosters.
