Is HBO Sports going to be putting more of a focus on original documentaries with the addition of Bill Simmons? Perhaps, but that emphasis may have started before Simmons entered the fold. On November 3rd, HBO will be airing Kareem: Minority of One, a documentary focusing on the life and career of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Kareem is the GOAT basketball player to ever grace the courts, from HS to the NBA he dominated and won. Also educated and intellectual individual which is rare for an athlete of such stature, especially right now that most superstars are concerned about endorsements and being PC rather than having an opinion on societal issues let alone taking action.
