Mexico is currently up 3-0 on them. Jamaica looks terrible out there.:oldlol:

US actually played relatively well in that game. They just gave up 2 free kick goals off headers and at that point Jamaica parked the bus. US dominated possession and the other stats. US just wasn't as fortunate as Mexico to get 2 penalties to guide them to the finals. This whole tournament Klinnsman had been experimenting too much with the lineups and didn't have any continuity. In the middle of the tourny he dropped a few guys and added some which made it a bit weird. It was like he didn't care too much about the results and cared more about trying new things out.
But anyway it's not like Mexico had any business being in the final. We all know about those soft penalties they received because no one was going to watch a Jamaica-Panama final.

USA couldn't even get 3rd place.
Mexico stays owning the Gold Cup. That's 3 gold cup victories in 4 appearances.

Lol. Mexico should not be there. They won on absolute bullshit.
US played well. Goalie made bone headed play. Those are the breaks.

Mexico wins its 7th Gold Cup title, one more than all other countries combined.

US played their B team in the 3rd place final.
And if you want to talk about dominance it's the US dominance against Mexico since 2000. I think the US have something like 12 wins, 5 draws and 5 losses in head to head matchups with Mexico.
The trend it irreversible and it's only going to be more lopsided in the US favorite in the future.

It's CONCACAF, bruh
I wish we were in CONMEBOL, it would for us to actually beat good teams. Can't become great unless you beat great teams...

didn't mexico need the us to win a meaningless game to qualify for the last world cup?
i remember them losing to honduras at home and needing a bicycle kick to stay alive in concacaf qualification. wouldn't get a sniff at qualification in conmebol.

The US takes those h2h match ups more seriously though...don't forget Mexico clocking the US 5-0 a few GCs ago...and that 4-2 come from behind win when the US had a 2-0 :oldlol: lead
Anyways, the best way to gauge is where Mexico and the US places in the World Cup. I believe out of the last 6 WCs, Mexico placed higher 5 times :pimp:

Nice excuse for that weak record since 2000 :lol . Didn't the US blank Mexico to get the quarterfinals in 2002?
In case you didn't know, since Mexico is always on vacation by then, the quarterfinals are the last 8 of a major tournament. And no, the friggin Gold Cup doesn't count.

Was that the 5-0 victory in the gold cup tournament that was AFTER the confederations cup where USA beat Spain and Mexico wasn't playing in? Wouldn't count that.
USA played the B team.
That 4-2 loss was embarrassing not gonna lie.
USA vs. Mexico on October 9th for the playoff to the confederations cup. Should be a good game.
Dos a cero pendejo.

Also, if USA doesn't score another goal against Panama in WC qualifying, Mexico doesn't make the WC. You're welcome.

Ether :lol Gracias :applause:
Real talk, we love talking shit, on both sides. The US has had the better of it lately, like in any rivalry, one side goes on a run, then the other side goes on a run. It's all in fun doe amigos
Nos vemos en playoff de la Copa Conferaciones

Eh, same results besides the 2002 world cup where US tapped that Mexican ass in the knockouts ;)
But the October match should be interesting. No more fooling around the bald eagles will take this easily.
