Michael Adams?

Shot .394% when he averaged 26.5 ppg and his next highest average was 18.5. The guy was a 5'10" midget who jacked up almost 9 3pt fgs per game at a .294% that season.

Never heard of him, but he's probably the winner.

Michael Adams (26.5 ppg on .394 FG%)
Kiki Vandeweghe
Dale Ellis
Redd
Archie Clark
Lou Hudson
Marques Johnson
Glen Rice

All good players but not as good as the rest of the lot.

EDIT: Wow, can't believe someone beat me to MA.

Also, Adams played for one of the most gimmicky offenses ever in that Denver system. They had complete free reign to jack up any type of shot they wanted and that team averaged almost 120 ppg.

What's funny is Woolridge also averaged over 25 ppg that season with Denver. He is also up there for worst 25+ ppg offenders. :oldlol:

That's a good one! He often played on bad teams that allowed him to jack. Anytime you are shooting under 40% from the field, it's not a good look at all. In actuality, he was best served being a combo guard off the bench. One of the most frustrating players to deal with at times is a small combo guard who's a streak scorer. They have scoring ability, but they can easily shoot u out of a game. And often times, they are actually undersized SG's. As opposed to a combo guard who can play both PG and SG at a high level.

Juwon Howard? Had 22PPG for one season, journeymen for rest of his career.

Rice and Mashburn were good players, actually starters for majority of their careers. Rice was even an All-Star MVP in '97 or '98.

Eddie Johnson? Dude played still he was like 50 years old. lol

If we had a Top 10 worse 20PPG scorer, I bet we'd list a lot of 80's and early 90's guys considering how fast the pace was.

Iverson averaged 31pts shooting under 40% and averaged 4to and 5.5 assists in the same season. He averaged under 40% a second time while averaging 26 ppg.
