Dude wasn't even 25 yet, and already securd his place among legends:bowdown: He did it all with no hype coming out of high school, but instead, questions about his ability, his draft, etc. Then, he secures top 5 GOAT when he won back to back FMVPs after virtually everyone didn't think he could even get close.
Then you have to look at Lbron. Not even top 15 with not 1, not 2, not 3, but FOUR finals losses.

i'd say he was around 14th all time after his 3rd ring
top 10 after his 4th ring
then top 5-6 after his 5th ring
the awards/achievements/records also helped a ton

I'm three days from completing a 4 year apprenticeship as a stationary engineer. In 3 days, I'll be a certified journeyman running gas and steam turbines. I'm doing fine little homie. I'm here to talk basketball though.

Quick tip son, a spray painter is technically a metal fabrication engineer. Take it from a real professional that anyone without an engineering degree should never call themselves an engineer or risk being laughed at and ridiculed to no ends. Assuming you are completing whatever you say you are, keep it simple and don't overplay your cards and gloss crap up because when your an engineer, the first thing anyone in the industry asks is what your GPA is.
Life experience......:facepalm
P.S your not here to talk basketball your here to live vicariously through Kobe. If you wanted to talk about basketball you would talk about offensive and defensive sets and options because that is all real basketball fans talk about.

No one was even ranking Kobe at that time because he hasn't won a championship as the man. Pippen had 6 rings and no one even said he was top 20 so Kobe with 3 sidekick rings (half of what Pippen had) would be lucky to be ranked in the top 30-40.

Look clown, just because you're too stupid to know what a stationary engineer is, or does, doesn't make it nonexistent. I didn't say principal engineer, civil engineer, mechanical engineer, or electrical engineer. I specifically said "stationary engineer". We run plants with turbines, chillers, boilers, water treatment modules, do water chemistry, lab analysis, etc. If you were a "real professional" you'd know that. But you're not. You're a fvcking idiot who assumed to know me based off a stupid post about basketball.

Kobe wasn't top ten after the Lakers 3peat. Breaking through in 2009 with his first ring as the top guy, combined with what he had done individually between 2004 and 2009, was what boosted him into the top 10 for most. The 2010 championship was the capper....

Kobe was top 10 after his first 3 rings considering that Duncan only had 1 at that point to match, so he was behind Shaq & Kobe in terms of accolades
He was ranked in the top 10 range during the mid 2000s with all those crazy games he had on garbage teams, it was consensus he was the next Jordan, but the knock was that he couldn't win without Shaq. After he won the MVP and led the Lakers to the Finals in 08 and carried team USA in the clutch in Beijing, he was already getting top 5 considerations from coaches and ex-players. After he won b2b he was getting top 3 all-time hype, some even said he would end up as the GOAT.
It is what it is, if the Lakers didn't fall off after 2010 and 3-peated in 11 vs Miami (if Kobe and Pau play like they did in 09 and 10), Kobe right now would be consensus 2nd all-time behind MJ.

Nobody considered Duncan top 10 back in the early 2000's, so not sure why he's drawn into this post. Nobody considered Kobe top 10 either, it wasn't until he established himself after Shaq left, won MVP and rings/FMVPs that he planted himself inside the top ten. But back in 2002? Top ten? Not even close.
