And he uses his leverage very well. He already has a lower center of gravity against centers because he is only like 6'5" but his body positioning and lower body strength make him almost immovable when trying to back him down.

Chuck Hayes has declined the offer the Houston Rockets made, citing roster inflexibility and financial considerations as the reason.

His agent says he has a lot of interest from teams bringing him into coaching or a front office job. He still wants to play, and reports are that he's in better shape.
