where in the article did you read there has been confirmation? :confusedshrug:

it only stated that the malaysian pm thinks it's very likely a piece of MH370.

that same malaysian pm also thought it's very likely that other events happened, which didn't happen.

They say if the plane debris is from a Boeing 777 then it's MH370 as only one 777 has ever disappeared over water.

The interesting bit will be when they find the plane and can figure out why the plane changed it's destination and crashed. We already know it crashed in the Indian ocean, since that's pretty much the only possible outcome barring some outrageous alien shit.
