Today I learned (i paid $10.99 for first month too) Best Buy's repair service doesn't offer repairs, rather they offer to replace your phone with a refurbished one if anything is wrong, for an additional $100-$150. So if you crack your screen, they'll replace it, the phone that is, with an old one, for $100.

I got my $10.99 back because despite them arguing to the contrary, the contract does say they offer actual repairs and they didn't.

The plan you purchase through Verizon is much better. Yes, the same $100 deductible applies and they always try to give you a refurb as well, but with enough complaints about your refurb "not working well", they'll send you a new phone. My friend cracked the screen on his iphone6, got a refurb, after 2 weeks he got a new iphone6. He always does this too (when his phone breaks). But he's polite and knows how to communicate well. I've had him call in my behalf bc i lose my cool to easily when they try to hit me with a refub.

i bought the phone there, seemed logical since my wife breaks screens easily. But then soemone told me it's not good, and i called them, and it was a joke.
