Well the people got what they wanted in Baltimore, less of hands on police presence. The result? Mayhem.

July was the deadliest ever recorded in Baltimore(well tied w/ '72). The people are saying more jobs is the answer but businesses demand a strong police presence because looting, violence, and robbery, for some strange reason, doesn't appeal to them.

Congrats Baltimore, you got what you wanted. A police force that is afraid of you. :cheers:

Marilyn Mosby, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, and others are responsible for this. There are less arrests but deaths are raising. There are some serious problems with these people. Black people have issues as well because they allow this crap to happen. I hate to say it but this is a reason why so many look down on them. It's a shame.

I actually agree. I lay it at the feet of the NAACP and black church's. You can certainly worry about the behavior of law enforcement, but the biggest thing is worrying about the behavior of the criminals and foolish idiots who actually live in the neighborhoods. Need to have a concerted effort to get in these neighborhoods and help rebuild and lift them up. Black lives matter is a good mantra, but they need to start within the community and remind the people who live there that it includes them too.
