I think this has been posted before (probably by me even :oldlol:) - but this video is mad underrated.
BK was utterly clinical from midrange (were he and Larry the games best midrange players?) and one of the greatest tough makers I've seen. That's what makes this compilation awesome - most of the shots he attempted in this video were with defenders draped over him. Still and all, he was one of the more efficient scorers
Where would you guys rank him in today's game?

You can make every player look "decent" in their highlight videos, but this guy has games (on Youtube) where he drops 40, 50 and 60 points...on call.
Not to mention he's a HOFer

'Nard was a BEAST.
When I first got into the NBA, he had already had his knee injury. I hadn't seen his pre-injury years. When he was with the Bullets, I was amazed how this dude who couldn't jump could drop a shitload of points on teams. I was like, "Ya'll can't stop this dude?"
Then one day, I saw his highlights when he was in his prime (the game where him and Isaiah had their famous shoot out). I was shook. I was like, "No wonder this dude ain't no joke."
Bernard adjusted to his physical limitations and basically continued where he left off two years before he got hurt.
Man, if he didn't get hurt and was able to play with Ewing after the Knicks drafted him...

Yeah, I remember seeing dude go H2H with Mike I think (?) during the '91 season. BK had zero lift and was slow as molasses...but he put a beatdown on DA Bulls. Scottie and Mike took turns defending him and were collectively shitted on (highlights of that game are on the internet somewhere).

They'd be a problem on these streets. Assuming they would've kept Mark Jackson, my gawd that would have been a trio to reckon with.

At his peak? Dude was a freaking beast, closest you can get to unstoppable.
Those mid-range jumpers from close to the paint were just MONEY, very quick release and he could get it over just about anyone, turnaround from the post or off the dribble...
And before the injury he was very athletic and explosive, great on the fastbreak and driving to the rim, with great footwork and a very quick 1st step.
Loved it when coaches would almost rotate their entire squad trying to find someone to guard prime King :lol
Plus, he was more than "just" a scorer... At their best, I'm clearly taking him over someone like Dantley, for example.

Yet another guy who was a better iso scorer than Bron ever was.

That's exactly the game I was thinking of. I was like, "How is dude taking my Bulls to the woodshed?"

Today, it is hard to say, if he was a rookie, coaches would have beat the rim 2 and corner 3 into him so badly that the beautiful midrange game might not have been able to develop.
If he came round in the late nineties turn of the century, he'd be a better Paul Pierce with multiple MVPs. His peak is MVP level and if he avoided injury he'd have gotten a few, especially in the early oughts when the East was so damn weak (even weaker than today).
