Honestly looking closely at what the lakers have said.. And what Kobe has said this is a real possibility.
Lakers have stated numerous times that this will be kobes last season.. And that reads that the lakers will not offer Kobe another contract..
Kobe has not said he will retire after next season.. Hinting he might want to go on.. Lakers have not backed him to do this.
Lakers also have more young talent on their rosters than they have had in a very long time.. If lakers want to develop these players properly Kobe has got to change the way he plays.. Take less shots.. Play less minutes.. The problem is I don't think Kobe will do this.. Even if he is asked too.. He is far to selfish for that. I can see Kobe being benched a lot more next season and he will rage about that..
This relationship is going to get nasty by the end of next season.. Book it
