Favorite singular season of any TV show?

For me it has to be either Dexter S1 or S2

Simply an amazing opening two seasons, really lived up to the potential that was Dexter.

Also liked Breaking Bad season 2 if I recall. Thought Jane brought an interesting element to the show that would later serve catalyst to the conclusion of the show.

As for a comedy, Eastbound and Down is strong across the board

Probably would say S3 or S1 were the best, but they're all so damn good and I especially loved Kenny's mexican journey in S2.

TD season 1 is massively overrated right now IMO

Still a great season, but the hype has just been overblown because two actors carried the show. EVERY character in Fargo was brilliantly acted and fleshed out. It was amazing that they could fit in so many characters, give them depth and screen time, and then not feel convoluted or taking away from the main plot.

Truth. The scene where his wife tells him she wants a split and the scene he finds her dead are amazing performances by Elba. Also, I think that's the season where he uses David Bowie's writing technique to solve crime which was awesome.

I'd probably nominated Peaks Blinders S2 as one of my favorites. Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy had some great scenes.
