In the rooks photo shoot? How much did he even warm up to do that?

LaVine, KAT and Wiggins should be half (or 3/4th) of the 2016 all-star slam dunk field.

That was in practice.

Not impressed.

How many players actually pull off all of these 360's/in between the leg shit in game? Very few. It's so rare to see an NBA center be this fluid.

Still not impressed. Do it in a game and maybe I'll care.

Watching that clip reminds me of a young Amare - Surely KAT doesn't have young Amare type level of explosiveness... right?....

No, not off the bounce. From what I've seen, he doesn't have that kind of explosive first step. But, he still has beast potential, because he is a hell of a lot bigger and longer than Stat.

A good indicator of instant explosiveness is the no-step vertical jump. Coming out of college, Stat had a no-step vert of 32". KAT's was 29".

Still very impressive.

Rubio to Lavine / Wiggy / KAT could be awfully fun this season, and then awfully dangerous for the rest of the league for the following years...

If Rubio stays healthy....

Which he wont

I don't think it is accurate to put Lavine in the same category as Wiggins and Towns. Lavine is a nice piece with high upside, but there are a lot of question marks. Wiggins has already proven to be a top shelf player with potential taking him to first team NBA levels, and Towns seems to have already separated himself as the best player in this draft.

I still see guys like Shabazz or even *gasp* Bennett (though I might be the only one left who thinks he can potentially play) being a more key element to this team. Though the likelihood is that they trade Bennett.

I'd deal Lavine, his rep is higher than his actual ability in my opinion and some sucker GM might roll the dice on him. Lavine, if playing more of a feature role, could potentially sell tickets.

Maybe once Rondo busts in Sacto Minny could wrangle DMC out of there for a deal involving Rubio and Lavine? Or even WCS for something lesser.

Lavine has value, but I think it might be more with what he can add to a trade.

Nice. Anyone remember the rookie game like 12 years ago when Lebron, Tayshaun Prince, and Nene started an in game dunk contest? I feel like Nene tried a between the legs in game...not that anyone was gonna play defense. I dont remember if he made it. I know Lebron and Prince made theirs.

Yup, that was awesome. Bron had that between the legs dunk. Did Melo throw down a nasty one too?
