I would say more common sense, I knew this when I was 6 running around with a BB gun. I would punished badly by my dad if I didn't display proper trigger finger safety. EVERY person should know this before they pick up a loaded or unloaded weapon.

Its a wonder why fortune 500 companies aren't tripping over themselves for the prime real estate in Ferguson to open up new businesses.

These people are only killing themselves, figuratively and literally. The few minority owned businesses in Ferguson were robbed or burned, and those are the people who cant afford to re-open. So the businesses close down, the jobs disappear, and then despite the city being (and St. Louis) run by Democrats since the 50's, the media will blame it on Republicans and those who get their news from Twitter or the Daily Show will eat it up and regurgitate it back out as some sort of profound enlightenment.

More people become unemployed, there are less tax payers in the city, the good folks (the ones who are left) will leave the first chance they get. The schools will be left full of illiterate borderline learning disabled children, so the funding for the school will dry up, and then they just repeat the cycle over and over until the time on this earth is over.

You're seeing citizens acting out over years and years of civil unrest. Probably has been passed generationally I'm sure. I just hope you know that Blacks were treated way worse back in the 50's and 60's. Hung, hosed, dragged, shot at, discriminated against in public, you name it. So this crap about it being a generational thing is just that, crap. There isn't an old granny sitting in a rocking chair in every hood telling kids the horrors of the Civil Rights era. And then telling them that they should act out this way.

The Civil Rights movement put an end to all that visible and legal discrimination. So why are Blacks still at a disadvantage in these neighborhoods? I'll tell you why. Jobs, and the lack thereof. But more importantly, it's the lack of a desire to find a job and earn a decent wage and live an honest and decent life. That's cultural. That's upbringing from dead beat, uneducated parents who guess what, are poor themselves. That's the cycle you should be talking about and not about one or two crooked cops. And this Michael Brown hoopla is a farce. This cop was and is innocent and people are still on the streets for what?

It all boils down to failed leadership in the home and failed leadership in the community. No one cop decides the fate of a community. The community decides the fate of the community. If anything, I'd be rioting and looting the Mayor's office or the State Capitol. If more people were working, then they'd be off the streets and not committing crime after crime.
