They have a great core. They'll be at least a 2nd round playoff team for a long time and I can't see Lakers getting past that any time soon.

I'll also go with 3. Lakers are almost bound to be better at some point, I'm not convinced that Blake (Going home to OKC?) and CP3 will stay and once either one is gone their chances go with them.
