Not saying he's definitely top 50, but you could argue Rodman being on that list

I'd probably take out: Lenny Wilkens, Hal Greer, Dave Bing, Jerry Lucas, Earl Monroe, Nate Thurmond, Dave DeBusschere and Billy Cunningham (only NBA here).

You got some, call them, borderline players like: Robert Parish, Gary Payton, Ray Allen, Bob McAdoo, Reggie Miller, Dolph Schayes, Dennis Rodman, Tiny Archibald, Pete Maravich, and some (very) few others...

Add the likes of: Tim Duncan, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Dirk Nowitzki, Dwyane Wade, Allen Iverson, Jason Kidd, Dominique Wilkins, Steve Nash, Paul Pierce and Kevin Durant (if not now, he'll end up there).

Just off top of my head; I'd take Rodman over 10 players on that list.
