I use to do this when I would go take pictures. I would take my DSLR and especially if its a tourist-y attraction, I would turn around my big ass camera for a selfie. This was when the selfie craze just started and not one person bat an eye.

I never got the selfie thing. I've taken approximately two with my phone because I had a really cool backdrop and the lady and I have taken a couple when we were pretty drunk at the beach. Other than that...there are far more interesting things to point a camera at than my own ugly self. Besides, I have a huge head; if the idea is to catch what's behind me + my face, my huge head defeats the purpose entirely.
