I have a new appreciation of nuclear weapons after this. They said tremor from the 2nd explosion was the equivalent of 21 tons of TNT going off so I checked out what the tremor from a nuke would be. I couldn't find that info but apparently even the primitive atomic bombs dropped on Japan were equal to 17,000 tons of TNT and 70% of the buildings were destroyed in Hiroshima. So this explosion is just a spark compared to a nuke.

Huge reason why you are not a firefighter and myself too. The unwritten oath these guys swear to before even committing to such a career is crazy. This is China, so perhaps a lot of firefighters are not as qualified as one is in the USA.
