I'm not cool with it either since I am an art dude. I don't like art being ripped off.

No worries here because the Bean is much more aesthetically pleasing than the oil drop. Also, the reflection is much more beautiful in the bean because of its shape than the one from China.

china has duplicated all kinds of stuff from around the world.

they have versions of amsterdam, the eiffel tower, disneyland and all kinds of other stuff. sometimes interpretive, sometimes copied down to exact details.

They have a lot of things going for them but ingenuity isn't one of them, so if a little shame doesn't bother them, it only makes sense to rip off other's ideas. :oldlol:

personally i don't like how China is all cool with NKorea and sends oppressed fugitives back to get executed. they support one of the most fukked up leaders/country in the world today.

i also don't like how they're stealing korean entertainment fads either.

its so typical of them to just steal everything to make money off it themselves with generic versions. they do that with everything.

sad thing is most chinese people i've met are real friendly. except when i go to the buffet and bus loads of them are trying to get thru the door and they don't give a fukk about being polite letting u thru. its like survival of the fittest getting thru the entrance when they all arrive :biggums:

well from the 50's to the 70's mao did a pretty great job of exterminating chinese who were courteous, honest and respectful.

from what i understand, he got more people wiped out than stalin and hitler combined.

so we're largely looking at the result of all his experiments, murder and systems he put in place... i.e. a skewed picture.

but yeah as a long time table tennis player, some of my best times have been spent hanging out with chinese. they're a lot of fun to hang out with... sort of perky and uninhibited.

In boarding school I could take the guys from Taiwan and Hong Kong, but the only Korean kid in the school could wipe the floor with me, and basically everyone else, in ping pong. :oldlol:
