Man I guess. The Olympics team always look like they won't work well together. And they don't necessarily just so much talent they win anyways. But a lot of guys just going one on one I would imagine. Still, I can see why USA might be nervous to try to go for "fit", plus it might irritate stars who want to play.

Dwight Howard still is an elite player in the paint, he proved it in the postseason even after his knee injury. It's hard to understand why Jerry and Coach K would even think of putting Faried, Drummond, or Jordan on the team before Dwight.

Between Cousins and Dwight, I'd go Dwight. D12 fits the role that centers have been given in recent memory for Team USA:

Shot Blocker
Rebounder
Post Defender
Pick and Roll Defender
Lob Catcher

Between all the offensive talent on the perimeter, I don't see the need for Cousins' offense down low. All that team needs on offense is a guy that can set good screens, catch lobs, and grab offensive boards.

I wasn't counting at first, but it caught my attention how many he was making. He made approximately 16 out of 20. Of course, he attempted a few in game, and looked terrible. Cousins however sucked from 3 both in game and during practice (didn't practice many).

Legit basketball players are so freaking talented. Been to some college games and watched guys who don't take a shot outside of 10 feet drain 3s and shoot trick shots that gain 50 million views on YouTube in the warm ups like nothing. Makes you gain an appreciation for for how talented these players are and especially how talented great shooters are that coaches let them run around and shoot .3 second, curling, heavily contested, 3pters all game and they still hit 40+% when almost every in the league can make open 3pters and coaches don't let them shoot.
