Vs Warriors: 54 points (19-27)

Vs Kings: 30 points (10-15)

Vs Blazers: 46 points (17-25)

Ya...about that...

Durant's stats without Westbrook

35.0 ppg 7.5 rpg 6.3 apg 65.3 TS% 33.0 PER

Also LOL @ people bringing up the playoffs. Man that 30/9/4 57 TS% sure is terrible

BTW LeBron is averaging 28/9/6 57 TS% for his playoff CAREER. He averaged 27/9/6 57 TS% in his 2 title runs. Durant's garbage playoffs are essentially the same as LeBron's playoff career/title runs

Does that include the 50 or so games Westbrook actually played? I'd like to see OKC's on/off numbers in the 30 or so games OKC played with Durant and without Westbrook.

Durant is already more efficient than MJ ever was and miles ahead as a shooter. He also has a couple seasons where he matched MJ is points on 2-4 less attempts per game. All he needs to do he develop a solid post game and demand the ball more and he'll pass MJ as a scorer.
He might even already be better scorer than Wilt is you include playoff and Finals, and obviously competition/era.

Thompson was more consistent and better on defense this post season than Odom ever was, Smush was garbage on both sides of the court, at least Delly could play defense against the MVP and slow him down at times

Odom provided more offense, plus good defense and had 3pt range which spread the floor.

Smush on the offensive side (pts, trb, assists) > Delly's defense.

Durant is the best scorer since Jordan. If he stays healthy he is a lock for top 15 player of all time at least and if he wins a few rings with FMVPs, he will make top 10 easily.

Durant right now is the sf version of Chris paul. Insane stats/efficiency but some holes and no success yet despite atg help. Paul the whole taking the pedal off the gas thing when it counts and Durant the getting bullied physically in the playoffs/relying on refs for cheap touch calls.

Wade had a 13 game stretch in 2009 where he averaged 37.2 ppg, 11.4 ast, 6.0 reb, 2.9 stls, 1.5 blks, on 55% FG. Technically it spanned two months (Feb-Mar) but that's roughly a month's worth of games. Pretty crazy stuff.

true.. but 2014 ? Westbrook beasted.. and although ibaka went down for a bit Reggie Jackson stepped up in critical spots. Durant has never had a shortage of on court help, maybe coaching a bit though.

yes, ibaka getting hurt doesn't matter when you coach isn't great and you have no rim protection at all.
The truth is that durant has been very unlucky last 3 seasons.

You need more than a really good team to get to the finals.

In 2013, Westbrook didn't play a single minute against Memphis and in 2014, Ibaka missed the 1st 2 games against the Spurs (OKC went 2-2 after he came back). Can't have key teammates getting injured when you're facing teams like the '14 Spurs without homecourt.

You're right on the comp.. west was tough back in mid 00s nut is tougher now. Still, kobes game seemed more dominant against contact and more well rounded at his best 01, 03, 08, 09 etc that's just my opinion
