damn lots of conflicting opinions on ratatouille... i saw like a quarter of it but it was near the end, mostly long action scenes with knives flying through the kitchen and rats flying across buildings. not that interesting but does the rest make up for it?

or is this just a movie for prude foodies?

RidonKs
08-17-2015, 12:25 PM
i wonder what the pretentious anti-superhero film snobs think of disney running wild with silly cartoon depictions of ancient folklore and pixar modernizing the business with tragic tails filled with quirk and satire?

is it different because it's a cartoon? is it different because it involves talking animals? is it different because so many people love it that how could you possibly hate it?

hmmm

a culture run amok will castrate itself out of narcissism but with the right entertainment complex design, it could harness sexual energy and filter it through a process of mutual disdain and mutual tolerability. which strikes at the core of status quo america, and through the zaniest of mediums, the animated kids cartoon. wow.

what a world

WALL-E is a masterpiece, bruh.

I really liked the first 30 minutes. The middle was ok. The end was terrible. They can suddenly walk despite the bones at major joints being so far apart? For a lot of movies I can get over stupid stuff, but not when it is the closing scene from a company that generally produced gold.

Watched Finding Nemo when it came out in IMAX, was young at the time and at that time it was the most gorgeous film I had seen. Not to mention it was just brilliant in every other aspect too. Writing, story, voice acting, everything. Probably because of context, but it was the only Pixar movie outside of the Toy Story trilogy I fell in love with. All the other ones were just good to great, but none of them really resonated with me as much as FN.
