watch the video. most of his assists came when rodman was not in the game.

Give me a break...Dennis Rodman is so overrated as a perimeter defensive player. He got burned so many times by pippen in the late 80s and 90s...which is why they were forced to do all the hard/dirty fouls on him. Scottie averaged about 10 fta's a game during that series in 91 (when Rodman was 28 and in his prime) because he blew by Rodman at will and they had to foul at the rim. Rodman is massively overrated as a perimeter defensive player.

Joe Dumars was always on Jordan (and was a far superior perimeter defensive player to Rodman while getting average acclaim). Scottie was Rodmans assignment and he and the team were pushed to dirty play because he couldn't defend him. That is Rodmans reputation as a perimeter defender. He could guard those slow 80s players, but he had nothing for the new legit athletic talents like Pippen coming up in the late 80s.

I don't even like Lebron...this is probably the biggest fail come back on ISH of all time. I literally was never thinking of or mentioned (obvious) Lebron...yet here you are. The tape was sped up. Magic is garbage.

Rodman had 2 points and 7 rebounds before fouling out after only playing 25 minutes. They let that plan go the next game when Magic went for 22/19. Also Magic said after game three (Rodman had 12 rebounds) that all you have to do is put a body on Rodman and you can stop his rebounding. Magic switched off to Rodman and Rodman averaged just above 6 rebounds per game for the last four. And LA's SF goes off for 38 points in game 7. A totally failed experiment because Magic was still great in the series as well.

What Magic did was more impressive than what Rodman did.

This thread had absolutely nothing to do with Pip until Smoke117 went on waxing poetic about Scottie. Who in reality was a non factor in all of those Bulls Pistons series of the late 80s and early 90s until 1991.

Physicality disrupted anything of value he could bring to the table and point blank ... he was intimidated and shook by the Detroit players. Horace as well.

Find the threads I opened about Wilt, find my Youtube accounts and videos about Wilt, find my accounts on other boards, find any lies I spread about Wilt, find in general how much time of my life I've wasted on Wilt, then come and compare me to him. I'm just a fan in a board full of non fans, he's a live-and-die with Jordan/LeBron groupie. It's day and night.
