It sucks because Markieff is a good player and the Suns went through the frustrating stage of developing him and will now lose him for most likely less than market value.

I'm a Suns fan so inherently will side with them but how can they trade one of their players and not even tell them? Just a phone call to each them before the trade went through could have placated Markieff enough to allow him to stay.
Suns royally screwed this up,especially now Aldridge went to SA.

Yeah the twins were unprofessional and consequently teams might hesitate to acquire them. By not handling them professionally the Suns contributed to what is now a farcicle situation which may make future FA's question the Suns integrity.

End of the day every player is an asset. The Suns effectively threw away $30million worth of assets.
