The funny thing is both parties are nearly exactly the same. Except for surfacey talking point issues, both parties want the exact same shit.

Their sheeple followers are eager to attack each other, and refuse to recognize all of their similarities.

Democrats and Republicans are both moderate conservative parties. If Hilary or Trump get in, shit will hardly change from where we are now. The machine keeps rolling. Tard voters continue to pretend like they have a say in how it's going to roll.

Well, they're political parties. Their #1 priority is their own career success.

Which is why Trump is so popular.

Finally, a presidential candidate that is a huge success in the private sector and is not a lifetime politician.

Exactly the reason I hope Carson wins the nomination.

I think people just want a guy who isn't a pushover. People are sick of politicians who will fold at the drop of a dime.

OP comment relates to how Trump's running is fracturing the conservative base while Hilary's does the same for the dems.

Disagree about Sanders. Presidents can't wave magic wands and just create new laws and programs. Congress has to pass it. Social programs can strengthen an economy by redistributing wealth from the few to the many.

by what? absurd minimum wage hikes that crushes small businesses, and corporations that use low end workers?

tax hikes on companies who then up the costs of their products and services on to consumers?

they already increased taxes on investor profits. they increased taxes on income >$250k.

bernie can't possibly fund everything he's promising without bankrupting the country and breaking it a hell of a lot more than fixing it. there are a lot more issues with social program abuse and the lazy unemployed than there is based only on the rich having so much.

How can you be against supplementing the minimum wage when all a low minimum wage does is subsidize corporate profits via the taxpayer? Raising the minimum wage would lessen the burden on government assistance.

That is 100% false.

what? do you realize there are a LOT more companies out there than corporations? that every small landscaping, restaurant, etc. business that relies on uneducated, low wage employees will go out of business with $15 minimum wage? at the very least everybody who needs commercial landscaping or goes to a restaurant will see a significant increase in costs because of that wage increase?

furthermore nothing is taxed more than employee wages. state, federal, social security, etc. is added to employee wages. workers comp is based on employee wages. witholding taxes are based on employee wages. these ALL increase almost 100% with $15~ minimum wage hikes. its ridiculous how people think it doesn't hurt anyone, it completely kills a lot of business's from operating, and discriminates against non white collar industries.

Something has to be done though. Check this out:

Top 20% have 85% of the total wealth of America.. Bottom 40% is a tiny blip that you can barely see -- maybe 1% of the wealth.. That's beyond insane.

I hope you don't think that wacky wealth distribution is due to people being lazy like so many foolish tea party'ers think? There is 5% unemployment so clearly the other 95% does some kind of job (part-time, full-time, temporary). They're not sitting around all day playing xbox and eating potato chips.

I'm fine with raising taxes on corporations. Make them pay their due instead of letting them go through loopholes that allow them to circumvent taxes. Yes, they create jobs like Rand Paul was arguing, BUT that doesn't give them the right to avoid taxes (Apple paid something like 5% tax by using the loopholes). I say close all the loopholes and make them pay a flat 25% tax yearly after taking into consideration the jobs they create. Rest of us pay like 35% combining state/federal taxes.

Start bringing the debt down with more taxes and reel in the excessive spending. Invest more in science & technology. That will make the companies automatically stay in America.

Uh no it's actually normal all across the globe. Read about the Pareto principle.

Explain this to me again in terms of, say, health insurance reform, Anti-proliferation diplomacy, and renewable energy.

Really? Top 20% having 85% of the country's wealth is normal?

Makes me wonder how the breakdown is within that 20%.. I will check that out
