I guess with Kobe's career coming to an end, Filipino's will no longer be Kobe stans and become Lebron stans. So sad.

Unfortunately true. Some of my buddies shamelessly rocked old cleveland gear the day after the return.

I am interested how my countrymen from California react to the Lakers/Kobe's retirement. A lot of 2nd generation immigrants grew up with Kobe, so it's understandable.

There wasn't much bandwagoning during Jordan's Era if I remember correctly.

"dunk show" over "dunk contest". Lebron's in a nutshell.

Just like Wilt, dude was built for the Harlem Globetrotters. More a showman than a competitor. Both only really shine when facing little to no opposition.

People still debating if he lost his hops....

He can still get up he just can't get up consistently real high every quarter. 2005-2012 Lebron could sky for rebounds and blocks every play.....

Lebron now is where Kobe, PP and other swingmen were. He can dominate but in stretches. That's a lot of miles on a guy that's played 35 plus minutes a game since 18.

meh, i'll prolly go see kobe next time he visits Manila (he'll prolly be retired by then). My nephew insisted me that I go see bran with him, I refused. Can't stand them pinoy LBJ fans, they're literally like Lebron23. LITERALLY. :facepalm I had a friend (my bestfriend in highschool) that never talked to me again when I slammed his bran ass after 2/6. fakkit.

Same with the Kobe fans. I just blocked a guy who's wearing a Kobe jersey.

During the Moro rebellion in the Philippines, American troops found their .38s weren't cutting it against the crazed Filipino warriors. The crazy mfers would absorb multiple rounds and still keep hacking away at U.S. troops with their knives. Our soldiers were freaking out and dreading facing these maniacs in CQB. So they actually brought a bunch of old .45 caliber Colt six-shooters out of storage to give them more stopping power up close.

This led directly to the American military developing the .45 ACP cartridge, and the 1911. In case we ever had to face off against crazed Filipino warriors again (or anyone else as equally dangerous and unstoppable).

Filipinos don't do basketball all that well. But they know killin'.

Just like any kobe or lebron thread...this has become a thread about them both...betweens the stans that suck them...****ing pathetic. What ever happened to loving basketball for the game? You ****ing youngsters are ruining this game more than anything.
