In my opinion, peak wise the best little guard (6'1 and under) of all time. GOAT wise, he's in the top 3 with Isiah and Stockton for little guards. I think one reason why we see SO MANY score first PG's is because of AI.

Even though AI was an SG, many of those guards are under 6'3. Larry Brown had the vision to pair AI with PG's who could effectively guard SG's. Thus allowing AI to play SG on offense while defending the PG on the other end. Plus in terms of the image many players project, AI set the tone in that area as well. He was one of the RARE players who actually transcended basketball with their star power:

That was his birthday bash for when he turned 40 this year...looks far from broke

He also seems to be doing just fine and happy with his friends and good looking family. Respect to this man. I made some bad comments about him in the past and hated the way my team went down after that Billups-Iverson trade. But looking at his career in retrospect you just gotta respect the effort he put out on the basketball floor.

He influenced the way a lot of kids modeled their game playing at the park back in my young teen years
