No, I figured I'd make a thread so people can find out about him.

As much as I criticize today's music I get hyped when I discover someone I dig. And I titled it so it hopefully draws curiosity from others that wouldn't click on the weekend thread.

If at least one more person becomes a fan my objective is achieved.

I'll be honest.

I haven't heard much from him, because I think he's highly overrated and although I dig the production I don't like his singing. The few songs I did listen didn't do anything for me lyrically either.

But please post some of his lyrics, because perhaps I only listened to the 'meh' ones. Honestly, all I heard was some very basic stuff.

Im always wiling and eager to become a fan of new stuff, some have seen me frequent other music threads from time to time and appreciate new stuff. Which is what this thread is. I tried finding out what the hype is with this Weekend guy and it's simply just that... hype.
