[QUOTE]Sergio Ramos has said former Barcelona forward Ronaldinho was unstoppable when he was playing at his best.
Ramos spoke to one of the sponsors of the Spain squad prior to La Roja

A lot of players were unstoppable at their best

Not that unstoppable. "Unstoppable" is selling Ronny's peak short. GOAT Peak is fitting. Anything other would be a disservice to the talent of the legend.

As much as I loved watching Ronaldinho play (more polished version of Neymar basically); I have not seen a better peak than Messi & Ronaldo.
I don't think the other midget Argentinian is better, either.
Closest to them, IMO, was Brazilian Ronaldo.

GOAT peak.
You know Dinho is still playing right?
Once in awhile I watch him to see how he is doing. He still scores amazing goals but nothing like Barcelona days.
He will have some nice free kicks and curlers.

Yes I understand his demise, but we are strictly talking about his peak here. Simply legendary.

While I appreciate the pure skill of Ronaldinho, I was never a big fan.
Possibly the greatest player ever when it comes to one-player-offence in the game, but largely because he restricted Barcelona to playing that style due to his flaws. His tactical disability and engrossing selfishness is just as legendary as his trickery.
Ronaldinho is the sole reason why Xavi started his prime relatively late. He made everyone he played with a worse player.
Unstoppable is a good descriptor though, Ronaldinho in the right squad would create all the scoring opportunities the team needed by himself even if the opponent adjusted their plan to him completely. The downside is that all the other players on the team were obliged to cover him, because Ronaldinho would lose the ball in the middle of the pitch for no reason 20 times every match. If only that guy had a brain.

OP is an alt of that poster that kept making threads about his pencil **** and how football sucks and eventually got perma banned.. just another one for the ignore list
btw Ramos got abused by Ronnie on a daily basis back in the mid 00s and that obviously made him a better defender so i guess thats why he has kind words for Ronnie

Gaucho is the greatest when it comes to pure technique and dribbling...those 2 seasons he had with Barca are up there with anybody.

It's true. Nobody led a one man offense better and as successful as Ronny.
