Let's be real. Cavs are the favs to come out of the East.

No chance they beat the Spurs

this just proves how much lebron helped the heat that even after adding so many pieces you give them no chance of beating the cavs.

Nice to see that you have started to believe how much of a difference lebron makes.

the pacers were the 3rd best team LA faced during those playoffs

kobe averaged 29ppg vs the 2nd best team they faced ( sacramento )

and saved the series vs the best team they faced ( portland )

with 24, 11, 7, 4 in game 7

team leader in all 4 catigories over prime shaq in the most important game of shaqs life

there is no nba finals without kobe

and his average is only due to the 2 point game he came out in the first few minutes. take that away and its 19ppg ( the same as "most dominant big man pau gasol real finals mvp etc... )

OH WE'RE ON THIS TOPIC AGAIN

That's the point, they wouldn't win those two games with Love and Irving, because the only thing that brought them two wins was defense that none of those guys bring.

i dont really care about the 2/6, but i want to see good and hard Basketball. And this year again the EC will cheat us. If healthy the Cavs will cruise to the Finals. They will loose some games, but only because they will be lazy. And in the Finals a totally tested and bruised WC-Team has to fight the rested Cavs.

Hopefully the Cavs are healthy because this LebronBall of the 2015 finals was unwatchable. You can say what you want, but i dont want to see Kobe dribble 20sec and shoot then nor Lebron dribble for 20sec and drive or pass then, while everyone else is Standing around. both equally bad to watch.

you laugh at an injured kobe's averages in a 2000 series and a 2014-15 season

kicking a man when hes down is the only way a lebron fan can feel happy about their idols career

because a 100% healthy lebron averaged 17ppg in a finals without missing any games or being taken out the first few minutes ( as the 3rd option behind wade and bosh ) while getting punked by jason terry on the other end

And that's infinitely worse. But had the Heat won I guarantee you wouldn't give him credit for a ring like you do for '00 Kobe, even though LeBron was more important to his team and arguably their best player in 2011, something you could not say for Kobe in '00

Why do you Kobe haters love to hang their hat on 2000 when he beasted in the WC playoffs until Jalen Rose blatantly hurt him in The Finals? Which he admits to even this day.

It takes one tough SOB to knowingly play on a bum ankle openly accepting that your numbers will take a hit for it yet still grinding it out because your Team needs you. Imo game 4 alone absolves Kobe from any bullshit blemish his 2000 Finals stats has on his resume , but that's just me talking as a Laker fan.

Search your feelings , would your boyfriend Lebron even attempt to keep playing in a series where he couldn't average the most Pts, Ast and rebounds? Fucc no, the boy would get carried to the Locker room by his entire bench then have Nike release an ad about only Kings retreat in the face of adversity or some bullshit like that.

if lebron went god mode and saved the season leading the heat in every catigory in a game 7 ECF victory against their toughest apponent .... carrying a shook a** wade to the finals so wade could scoop up finals mvp against their 3rd toughest matchup of the playoffs ... while lebron has an injury to explain his averages while also saving a finals game by himself that would have swung the series ( then dominating the final game 6 clincher )

then yes i'd have counted it

if it wasnt for them replacing kyrie and love ( 2 shit defenders ) with tristan thompson ( a great defender/hustle guy/epic offensive rebounder ) and shumpert, delly ( hustle guys who are good defenders )

then the cavs wouldnt have been nearly as good

the cavs were soft and overloaded offensively with kyrie/love/lebron on the floor at the same time. they didnt try as hard on defense and love stopped rebounding the ball, stands outside waiting to shoot a three like some stretch 4 role player

healthy or not. the cavs will lose. period

The Cavaliers had a good record when Lebron, Irving, and Love were on n the floor. And even our 2nd unit with Lebron or Irving are way better than your Lakers.

Good for the Lakers because Simons and Skal are good players in the 2016 NBA Draft. Clarkson is the only bright spot for the Lakers. He's gonna lead that team in scoring,

i'm so confident in tristan thompson being a game changer. i'd offer

- d'angelo russell
- jordan clarkson
and
- julius randle

all just for tristan thompson in a trade

and give him whatever amount of money he wants

his playoff offensive rebounding last year was identical to bulls 96-98 dennis rodman

he's more valuable than you all think... and this year the cavs will bench him to play kevin love

then let him walk in free agency

Thompson can play 2 positions the power forward and center position when Love, or Mozgov sits on the bench. He's still going to play more than 30 minutes per game.

Cavaliers lacks some offensive weapons in the finals. They were missing the scoring of Love, and Irving.

Lebron's current Cavs team has already peaked early, just like his previous Cavs did in 2007.. His ball-dominant, athleticism-driven style doesn't foster growth in teammates, superior strategy, or an optimal brand of basketball for the team to play, so his teams never improve over the years to win a championship, LIKE MJ'S DID.

Most championship-level teams like the Warriors or Spurs use cutting edge strategy and play an optimal brand of basketball.. Specifically, they move the ball and allow role players to make playmaking decisions.. Guys like Diaw and Patty Mills don't just wait around for Duncan to toss them a dime - instead, Mills and Diaw are tasked with making plays just like Parker and Duncan are - ditto for guys like Shaun Livingston or Barnes..

And ditto for everyone that played in the triangle - the triangle was an equal-opportunity offense, as Phil Jackson describes here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIY_4vIxGEE&t=23m40s).. Every player got the chance to catch it on the post, turn-pivot, explore all the options and make a play - the lesser players like Kerr and Longley normally handed off, but they had the power to make a play if they chose.

Consequently, role players like Mills, Diaw, Kerr, and Longley play better and have a bigger impact than their more talented Cavs counterparts (shumpert, jr smith, mosgov, tristan thompson), who are just tricks waiting on Lebron to toss them a dime.. That brand of basketball has never won, and never will win..

Instead of having the capacity within his game to foster the growth of teammates, superior strategy, and an optimal brand of basketball for the team to play, Lebron can only go 2/4 by teaming up with unprecedented supporting talent (i.e. a 10-time all-star and 20/10 player as his 3rd option, Bosh).. Lebron is really a Karl Malone-level player that teamed up with Drexler and Mchale to go 2/4.

Otoh, MJ's teams were eventually perceived as one of the NBA's "smart" teams that used the best strategy and had played the best brand of basketball, just like the Warriors, Mavericks and Spurs of today's game.. MJ's goat offensive sophistication enabled him to fit a goat scoring production seamlessly within an optimal, winning framework.
