This may not translate well into the upcoming election as GOP voters will show up in more force with a Democrat incumbency and a shaky economy but here's what polls suggest at the moment.

Biden would beat Trump 48-40 and Rubio 44-41

Clinton would beat Trump 45-41 and Rubio 44-43

Sanders would beat trump 44-41 but lose to Rubio 40-41.

If either Sanders or Trump runs as 3rd party candidate, then their party's are basically toast.

Clinton has a trust problem. The public distrusts her a lot more than even Trump.

Depends on who's Rubio's running mate. If it's Fiorina or Carson, expect Rubio to win. More politicians in Washington is not the solution. If a Democrat were to win, they'd be setting this country back another 4 years. I don't know how Biden can win when the country thinks so unfavorably of Hussein Obama at the moment.

I don't know a single person who has even mentioned the name Rubio.

1. (If Republican or Republican Leaner) If the Republican primary for President were being held today, and the candidates were Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Jim Gilmore, Lindsey Graham, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, John Kasich, George Pataki, Rand Paul, Rick Perry, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, Donald Trump, and Scott Walker, for whom would you vote?

Trump 28 25 24 25 26 31 31 25
Carson 12 8 13 12 14 12 13 12
Bush 7 1 5 3 7 13 7 8
Cruz 7 21 9 14 6 - 10 4
Rubio 7 5 8 5 6 9 7 6

Which is why Rubio is waaaaayyy down the list.

Trump has an overwhelming majority of the moderate vote as well.

Why in the hell would this country want Rubio? He is a career politician just like Barry Obama.
