people in general do want to decrease the wealth gap between the rich and the poor, but the riches have also accepted that there's only that many people understands what the riches are talking about, which can be titled the proper approach to wealth, as this pattern had repeated itself over and over again, tiredlessly.

liberal/social ideas do indeed help and prosper a nation, but the requisite in modification as well as implementation consistently makes the proposition an unfavorable position

the structure of the tax system ought to be empty from the republicans point of view, because they can't imagine more than one sentence to explain its necessity. and while the obvious agenda from the democrats is to seek it as a punish/reward mechanism to help dictate/determine the moral/direction in which a nation march towards, innovation in itself puts such strategy on hold.

When having to face the opposition with additional modification, especially under the same administration, no one truly tolerates shortsightedness, not because the wealth of the nation is in jeopardy, but the distorted monetary value/earning power make it an unbearable 4 years to pass by, especially those who do not come from of wealth position. (Ironically, with socialist countries, as this isn't an option for a every 4 year turnaround, people are probably more settled with the idea that their own kids may be genetically superior or inferior than them and live a different life compared to the capitalistic country in which they are more inclined in making up lost ground.)

As someone who was born in 87, and have only actively lived through just a few administration, I can not even imagine the amount of bitterness one may endure over the years and eventually form a particular party bias/agenda. Another reason why the 'swing' votes, and the progressive part of the country had always generally been with the young people, unless one were to simply inherit a position due to the misshape of the former administration.

Again, I can't comment on a whole lot, but only on what recent memories has served me as I describe them.

I think everything you said makes sense although i think drugs probably are as big an issue but it's not wrong what you said. The first thing isn't universally but its true most of the time. It's hard to have a fantastic normal relationship if you have to work 24 hours a day and never see each other to eat.

Sorry, thinking of the other Hanks film - Saving Private Ryan (though Gump is a pretty mean-spirited film in its own right).

The Nazis in Schindler's List are less nuanced than those in Raiders of the Lost Ark. He uses Jaws-like suspense traps in a film about the damn Holocaust. He conveniently leaves out how important Emilie Schindler was to the story because, hey, she's a female and we all know men are the real heroes. The list goes on and on.

How people can appreciate that kind of filmmaking is beyond me.
