Ibaka top 25 a bit strange, I didn't focus on him much last season, but did he do enough to warrant that

so their top ten is:

lebron
kd
westbrook
curry
cp3
harden
kawhi
davis
griffin
marc gasol

in some order

i like kawhi but i think its a little early to have him top 10, and i think gasol will fade out of the top 1 this coming year too.

id rather have wall, boogie, or aldridge in the top 10 instead of them.

Wall being 10 spots higher than Kyrie is pretty laughable...

I get that he's a better passer and defender, but concerning Kyrie's in another world in terms of offensive skills, such a huge gap isn't warranted...

they had a video with the rankings, saying that injuries play a factor, and kyrie potentially missing the first 2 months are why he's that low.

Tim Duncan and Paul George jumped out to me.

Draymond Green who is a role player being #16 is disrespectful to all the stars he is ahead of :facepalm

Kyrie averages barely 5 more ppg than Wall but Wall gives you 5 more apg and all nba defense....

Not really laughable

kyrie give you far better perimeter shooting, and thus gives more spacing for his other teammates to go off.

beal would probably look like a better creator off the dribble, if he had someone like kyrie spacing the floor for him instead of wall.

Wall's the better all-arounder, not sure if that translates to 10 places better though. If Wall is 13, Kyrie shouldn't be any lower than 17 or so...

They did good putting Kawhi in the top 10, but shit is terrible besides that.. doubt they put much thought into it, when you just put Kyrie 23rd, behind guys like Bosh, Horford, KEVIN LOVE (WTF), PG, etc.

John Wall is the engine of an offense essentially 100% of the time he's on the floor. He's not free to hunt out his own shot all the time. He's not close to the shooter Kyrie is, but I take him in just about every facet of the game besides that.

How the hell are Draymond and Bosh ahead of their own teammates Wade and Klay???

Is this list a joke? Kyrie is literally better than every single person ranked ahead of him so far.

This is crazy, Draymond Green is nowhere near #16. Players like him only stand out on great teams. On a bad team, we would pretty much never hear about him. He's not very good at any one thing offensively, he just fills in the gaps.

He was pretty non-existent through like half the finals. He played good defense, but Iguodala statistically did better on LeBron.

Kawhi is much better than Draymond Green, but he is not a top 10 player. PG will have to get back into form.

As much as I hate to say it, #23 is ok for Kyrie, considering that's he's going to miss like two months of the season. He's clearly a more impactful player when healthy than at least half the players ranked ahead of him.

How the fvck is kyrie only 23 but Paul George is 20? Man didn't even play and who knows what he will be?

Dray reminds me of Anthony Mason (not saying he was as good Mase at his prime) with more range. Lamar Odom is another example.

Are they putting Draymond(#16) that high bc they're predicting him to leap over Klay(#26) as the #2 guy or something?

Because he's consistently bad on D for his entire career so far?

Yes, exactly. Lamar Odom did some really nifty things on that 05-06 Laker teams, but ultimately, wasn't tremendously helpful to Kobe and that god awful lakers team.

Top 15 players should at least be capable of dropping 25 on any night. Green doesn't have that skillset at all. He's a great glue guy, but that's all. This is a product of people's new obsession with defensive versatility, but that just doesn't matter when you're on a terrible team and you need to get buckets.

Also, having Kevin Love and PG ahead of Kyrie Irving is laughable to me, considering that both are coming off injuries, and Kyrie was clearly the more dynamic and impactful player last year.

So was Nash, yet dude won 2 MVPs. :confusedshrug:

I'm sorry, but there is absolutely zero logical reasoning to put guys like Chris Bosh, Kevin Love, and Draymond f*cking Green over Kyrie Irving.

(17) Kevin Love

(16) Draymond Green

Amazing what one season can do.

One goes from top ten-ish and rightfully falls to a reasonable spot, imo. The other goes from what? Top 200 to 16.
