gobert -> elite defense, good iq, passable offensive game
drummond -> elite rebounding, weak fundamentals, low iq
valanciunas -> held back by idiot coach
kanter -> no defense
nurkic -> needs more playing time against 1st team players.

gobert has some of the best defensive rating in the history of the league, back by the jazz being a totally different team with him on the floor. His impact is just ridiculous.

I think Drummond is the clear cut number one right now and probably into the future as well with his only legit challenger being Gobert (for his defense, not at all with his offense). I like Valanciunas personally, great player and easily will be at least #3 of that group for the next few years and could even go higher if he improves enough.

Gobert is an elite rebounder too. He's easily #1 right now. He took the Jazz from one of the worst teams to one of the best. The guys younger than him have some catching up to do.

Hard to rank as you have an wide array of abilities, I won't rate Nurkic mostly because the sample size is too small and I'm not sure the stats would scale given more minutes against better competition.
1a. Gobert is a beast on defense, and developing on offence, but still very raw. Small sample size, but he really put himself on the map this year with his impact on the floor. IF he puts an offensive game together, he could be a top 5 player.
1b. Valanciunas is easily the most well rounded player, given the opportunity his all around game could be best of this group.
3. Drummond is a retard, I'm leaning towards him being a career long erratic player with all the tools to be an all time great, but he will never get there.
4. Kanter is a pylon on defense and even with Westbrook making him look pretty solid last season, he is easily last of the remaining 4.
So of the 5, if I had to pick on right now, I would probably go with Gobert, but Val is right there.

In sum, Gobert is doing things that have rarely (in some cases, never) been seen in the history of the league.
These other centers are nice, but no one is writing "we've never seen this before" articles about Drummond or Kanter.

Number one is Gobert, who is my early pick for DPOY next year.
Then Drummond who is a pretty elite player.
Nurkic has great potential imo but he won't unlock it for another couple of years. Meanwhile Valanciunas is a solid player already.
Kanter isn't very good. Arguably the worst defensive big in the league who gets serious minutes.
