I hate how growing up with wealth has somehow become equivalent to selling your soul to the devil. Everybody always brags about how tough they had it but I want to be proud too. I had it pretty ****ing nice and I wouldn't change that. No shame from me.
Not only is my past and present life much better because of it but it will be just as beneficial if not more in the future. No loans, grad school will be paid for, and extra college fund money to one day open up my own chiropractic practice.
Life is good :pimp:

Hell nah
I'd never support that white punk ass ho.
My kids earn what they get. My youngest is a g. He's in 4th grade, but 5th grade maf.
I'm big on good grades = get shit.
They are dipped in nice clothes. And shoes. But they work for it. Chores. And good grades. They got x box , 3ds, kindle and have to earn all their games. I just don't get them shit for no reason.
My girlfriends family is fairly wealthy. Just bought a beach house in gulf shores that cost nearly 7 figures.
She's fine, her sister is spoiled.
I grew up dirt poor, and sometimes it's hard to, I guess 'assimilate' to their activities. I never owned a suit until her father gave me an old one that cost several thousand dollars.
They're nice people though. Very down to earth.

Exactly how I was raised. Wealthy but disciplined is the perfect upbringing.

That's how I was raised too, so obviously youre going about it the right way.
Can't be too hard on them, gotta let them have fun. As long as they make good grades and help around the house a little, they deserve private time to beat off on your computer when you're not around.
At least thats what I did, even before I knew about "history" or any of that. My dad mustve seen all the porn I was looking at but never said anything. Love that dude.

Theirs a lot of rich kids that go to my school and they feel entitled and have bad manners. A lot of them are cool but they a lot think things are given not earned.

We've been dating almost three years now. Her, and her family, and my family, got the itch. I'm asked when's the wedding on a weekly basis.
Feel like sooner rather than later, I'm going to have to take the plunge. But even seeing everyone else get married and have kids, at 26 I still feel like I'm too young for all that.

well 26 aint too bad if you are already in the career field u plan on staying in, and is only just trying to climb the ladder. If you are still looking for a career field though then maybe it's not a good idea.

There were a few people who grew up in my area who were filthy rich, very few though. Most were middle class. Everyone for the most part went to college and the average income per home varied by neighborhoods in the town we lived in. Some were high end ($100-$150k) and some were around $65-85K, so on and so on. One neighborhood was known as blue collar too but it was shared with the neighboring town.
One kid had a Lamborghini and he was about 2 years older than me (I will admit seeing a kid drive their parents' BMW or Mercedes to school wasn't all that uncommon but a Lambo? Yeah, he's the only dude I know who owned a Lambo in our district, likely was his parents). Someone did have a vintage Ferrari they were trying to maintain but it wasn't functional to drive. Wasn't worth much but the owner kept it in his driveway. Some kid from our old school district recently bought a huge apartment in one of the NYC boroughs although I'm not sure if it is with his own money or his parents' money because he has made a successful business from what I've heard.

I went to Calabasas High School so I know the worst children to disgrace American soil, entitled is an understatement.
if you grew up poor, you are more likely than anyone to develop the "success is my only mothafu-king option, failure's not" mentality, which can be your weapon in life.

My roommate has a large trust fund. Family is middle class but his grandparents are crazy loaded and some of his uncles are very wealthy. His family is really down to earth and awesome. He didn't have an unusual upbringing except that he went on more vacations than most people.
