So does he suck?
Doesnt matter what your field goal % is from some arbritary range that a dumbass unemployed 31 year old made
Its your overall FG and the end of the day

if lebron was taking most of his shots outside of 5 feet. i'd let his fg% slide
but he spams layup attempts and still shot 39%
kobe takes almost nothing but long jumpers. so hitting over 40% on long 2's and 3's combined is good
hitting 39% overall on mostly layups and 27% beyond 5 feet... thats NOT good

denial at its absolute finest
its the most embarrassing shit of all time... the role player you matched up with winning finals mvp out of nowhere because he was able to score vast sums of points that he normally wouldnt because lebron sucks AND forcing lebron into tougher shots all series that ultimately cost his team any chance

anyone can average a ton of stats and lose more often than they win
its about sacrificing that makes a team succeed

Nice try with ur usual weasel tactics but they never guarded bran every possession. For ex Iggy as the main defender on bran had him shooting like 30% while bran feasted on most others

this. the voters considered even just lowering Lebron's scoring was so vital they awarded FMVPs for it.
voters value Lebron so much that even just slowing him down gets a role player a FMVP.
it's not even stopping Lebron (since Lebron still scored a lot)
it's just "slowing him down."

To answer your question, I'd say Tony Allen or Kawhi, small chance Iggy could get it again for 2nd year in a row.
LeBron has a higher chance than anyone though at getting that FMVP

Kawhi didn't slow Lebron down at all, as the King basically shat all over him in the 2014 Finals. Luckily for Kawhi it didn't matter since Wade and Bosh went completely ghost on both ends of the floor.
This past Finals fatigue and injuries slowed down Lebron a lot more than Iggy did. Lebron might be the only player in NBA history who could have made this past finals competitive with the new york knicks cast offs he was playing with.

Never mind the fact that using anecdotalities is skeptical; the supposed disparities between where the two shoot is actually researchable!
Using the shooting-range metrics, which have been institutionalized and registered since the 2000-01 seasons, it can illustrate the disparities between their percentages of shots taken within radial measurements.
Career-average percentage of shots taken from a 10-feet+ radius:
Kobe: 65.8%
LeBron: 53.8%
Percentage of shots made from radial zones:
10-16 feet:
Kobe: 44.0%
LeBron: 35.8%
16-feet+ non-three-pointers:
Kobe: 40.6%
LeBron: 38.8%
Three-pointers:
Kobe: 33.4%
LeBron: 34.2%
Yes, Kobe takes more and converts more efficiently on-average; but any smart GM will want the player that can be relied on to take higher-percentage shots. Players are esteemed on how conducive their playing stylism is to winning, not flashiness; remember that.

the problem is you cant always get the looks lebron wants. while kobe can get the looks he wants more often
when the defense tightens up you cant spam layups... then you end up like lebron in the nba finals taking fade away threes to win the game and bricking the shit out of them
