Nothing better to contribute?

Actually on second thought, 2nd may be living in the moment. Top 5 though...

Warriors had the 8th largest margin of victory ALL TIME in the regular season.
All 7 teams above them won a ring that year. 3/4 teams right after them in margin of victory won also.

Last season's warriors were one of the greatest teams of all time. Did you miss them whooping ass all season long?

Good question.

I was trying to factor both here, but you can do both if you want.

All you fools laughing at the #2 Warriors ranking do realize that, by various statistical measures, they're one of the most dominant teams relative to their competition?

that's just off first memory, I need to re-research more of the last couple teams

anyone not putting the kobe/shaq lakers 1,2 and 3 are smoking some serious sh*t

no way i bet against prime shaq with elite kobe

not unless one of them is injured

2003 - shaq injured most of season/kobe injured in playoffs
2004 - kobe injured most of season

healthy kobe/shaq with phil NEVER lost

'07 Spurs to me are easily the weakest of their title teams.

07 Spurs had the big 3 at/near their primes with a bunch of hardened, experienced veterans: Bowen, Finley, Horry, Oberto, Barry, Vaughn.

03 Spurs had a peak Duncan and inexperienced Parker, SJax, Manu and old DRob - by far, the worst of their title teams.

'01 Lakers, '14 Spurs, & '15 Warriors are probably top 3.

There are alot of forgettable champions in the last 15 years. From '03-'07 it was basically teams with underwhelming talent winning titles (compared to other champions). 2008 Celtics are probably top 5, MAYBE the '09 Lakers as well.

'04 Pistons get overrated by some posters, if you have them top 5 in the last 16 years then you are overrating them. '06 Heat were probably the worst champions, '09 Lakers are probably the most underrated.

The championship teams from 2012-2015 have been great. Those Miami Heat teams with LeBron, 2014 Spurs, & 2015 Warriors all showed flashes of being truly dominant teams.

They are dominant for today's league - not vs a championship team with a dominant big man. Don't see how any of them would deal with a peak Shaq or Hakeem - but I guess that's the way the whole league is today. Whereas teams like 05 Spurs, 04 Pistons, any of the Lakers could defend against a dominant big man.

The only team that struggled against skilled big men were those Miami teams with LeBron, I never saw the Spurs or Warriors having a weakness against bigger guys, the Warriors actually had a DPOY candidate at Center in Bogut. And no team in history is going to contain a peak Shaq or a peak Hakeem so I don't see your point.

The Bulls in the 90's won 6 titles despite having a below average starting Center. 90's was the same decade in which big men dominated. In the end teams win games, not big men.

The '07 Spurs wouldn't even have won the title if they don't get that ref treatment against Phoenix in the WCSF, and then play the worst conference finals and finals teams in back to back series'... lol.

05 Spurs can hang with most, arguably the best Spurs title team too.

I guess they can hang with most, but the elite teams at the time weren't really dominant. I remember Steve Nash having a convo with Dirk not to long ago saying that if they stayed together in Dallas that might have won multiple titles considering how wide open the league was during that time.

Miami in 2006 is a great example, that is a team that wouldn't even sniff a title if you put them in 2010-2015. The Mavs had a 2 year stretch (06 & 07) where they were considered championship contenders and that team was pretty underwhelming in talent.

It wasn't until the Big 3 formed in Boston and Gasol joining the Lakers that you saw championship contending teams having lots of talent again, then of course Miami took it to another level shortly after by forming LeBron-Wade-Bosh etc.

Put the '09 Cavs or '10 Cavs in a time machine to '05-'07 and there is a chance they win a title, but that team couldn't win a title in their time because the other teams just had more talent.

LeBron shooting 34% with 6 Turnovers a Game and his infamous quit Game (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d-Mnfz6iB0) the last 3 Games isn't why they lost in 2010?
