Kobe haters love to bring up Shaq winning 3 Finals MVPs when he and Kobe played together, but do the Lakers even get to the Finals without Kobe going ham on the Kings and Spurs?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I5e1fh2TXs

team leader in points = kobe 24
team leader in rebounds = kobe 11
team leader in assists = kobe 7
team leader in blocks = kobe 4

2002 the Kings should've advanced to the Finals

Unless you're a retard like Bill Walton

He was single covered 24/7! :facepalm
ANY all star level shooting guard would have "beasted" under those conditions.

game 1 lakers win = 22-17 free throws ( lakers minor advantage )

lakers 106 - kings 99 ( kings with 5 more free throws still lose )

game 2 kings win = 25-38 free throws ( kings major advantage )

lakers 90 - kings 96 ( lakers with 13 more free throws win )

game 3 kings win = 15-35 free throws ( kings major advantage )

lakers 90 - kings 103 ( lakers with 20 more free throws win )

game 4 lakers win = 27-26 free throws ( lakers minor advantage )

lakers 100 - kings 99 ( kings with 1 more free throw tie )

game 5 kings win = 23-33 free throws ( kings major advantage )

lakers 91 - kings 92 ( lakers with 10 more free throws win )

game 6 lakers win = 40-25 free throws ( lakers major advantage )

lakers 106 - kings 102 ( kings with 15 more free throws win )

game 7 lakers win = 33-30 free throws ( lakers minor advantage )

lakers 112 - kings 106 ( kings with 3 more free throws still lose )

overall free throws = lakers 185 - kings 204

a) 3 games rigged for kings..... 1 for the lakers
b) +14 free throws per game in their 3 wins to the lakers +6 free throws in their 4 wins
c) more of an advantage in the kings game 3 win than the lakers game 6 win
d) an overall advantage in free throws by a large margin
e) an evenly reffed game 7 and choked it away on the line and from distance. losing in O.T

Does Jordan win rings without Pippen's elite defense and playmaking?

Nobody is winning without their second best player unless your name is Magic Johnson. :oldlol:

If basketball is a team sport, do individuals need help?

this, my friends, is the fundamental question that has been bugging retards since the dawn of basketball.

we would like to put it out there, that yes, basketball is a team sport.

thank you for playing.

When did he win without his 2nd best player? He won a game in the playoffs. Alot of people can do that

Excellent question. Without Pippen I honestly can't see Jordan EVER advancing past the first round. MJ was a great scorer, but just didn't know how to play winning basketball prior to Pippen showing him how to execute in a team game. I don't think we can chalk it up to Jordan being too young either. As soon as MJ went to the Wizards and no longer had Pippen to hold his hand his teams went right back to being perennial underachievers. :confusedshrug:

Since Pippen never led the Bulls with MJ on the roster, your question is stupid.

If Lebron doesn't jump ship, is he just 0/2?

Solid response, Jordan Ball is the anthisesis of optimal basketball

With Jordan - 57 wins

Without - 55 wins

I guess when you're teammates are no longer spot-up shooters, they can make up whatever 'value' you provided

It's a shame they didn't get one more home game to choke away.

Why do you keep responding to yourself? I dont get you? Are you that lonely in real life?? You have to respond to yourself?

And then bran stans thought bran could win more with shaq. Lol shaq and bran are redundant. Two players who disappears when it matters. Luckily the east is so weak or else it would be kobe getting those fmvps.

Yes, as 19 year old.

And they were swept once and almost swept the other year.

Fact is, Shaq didn't win anything without the 2nd and 3rd/4th best shooting guards of all time playing with him. That's also something he has in common with his other 'freak athlete' pal Lebron.

except Jordan didn't need his 2nd option to averaged 29/7/6 and 27/6/5 while leading the nba in 4th quarter playoff scoring for him to win championships

He also didn't need his second option to be his first option and FMVP for 3 straight rings.
