Yeah that is a steep dive-off from 2011. I expect for them to match at the very least those 3 this upcoming offseason (unless one of them is out with an injury). This does go to show a little bit though why Bron decided to skip town, his supporting cast wasn't as dominant as it once was

Holy Shit Gasol has the same amount of 30 point performances in just 3 seasons (08-10)
Think about this ( I know ISH is low IQ but still) ..............Same amount as 30 point performances as Wade AND Bosh combined, in one less season
Let me repeat........
same amount as 30 point performances as Wade AND Bosh combined, in one less season
And thats even before arguing the advantages of having a mobile 7 footer with length, defense shot blocking ie. the other things Gasol can provides
I knew the talent difference was huge in the Lakers advantage, but god damn lmao :lol

Wade averaged 20/5/5 on 47% in the playoffs over the course of those years. Pretty damn good 2nd option numbers, especially for a player battling injuries and on the wrong side of 30. We all know he was bad in the '14 finals though, no argument there. However, Lebron was healthy and in his prime in the '11 finals. What's his excuse?

4 bad seasons? Are you stupid? Wade was great in '11 and '12. I've never denied he was sub par in the '13 and '14 playoffs and that he stopped being a consistent superstar after the '13 regular season. Even so he still managed to put up 20/5/4 with 1.7 steals and 1.2 blocks in the finals in '13. I don't give him a pass at all for the '14 finals. He was bad. Like I said earlier, the main difference between Wade's bad finals in '14 and Lebron's in '11 is Lebron was healthy and in his prime.

That stat was provided before the series started, when everyone and their mother thought that the Heat would continue with LeBron being first option.
It should have Wade's name above considering he was still Captain of the team.
But superstars LeBron and Bosh agreed to let Wade be first option in the Finals due to him being 100%.
With LeBron and Bosh holding back, Wade failed to bring home the bacon and another FMVP.
Luckily for Heat fans, Wade came to his senses that summer and publicly announced he was turning the team over to LeBron.

To be fair Dubeta does have a point, facts are facts and since 2012 and on they've only gotten three 30+ point games between them. Now is Dubeta saying that they stunk? That's what I want to know, do you think that Wade and Bosh stunk those years Dubeta?
In 2012 Wade averaged 22.8 PPG, 5.2 RPG, & 4.3 APG so he obviously did a pretty good job. As for 2013 and 2014? To be honest Wade stunk almost all the 2013 playoffs until he woke up during Game 4 in SA, and in 2014 he did a great job during all the early rounds, but crumbled in the finals. So did wade do a good job overall? I'd say he did.
As for Bosh, he did decent I guess, not nearly as good as D-Wade but decent.

Do you know how absurd you sound? I don't know if you've watched too many movies or what, but professional athletes don't think and act the way you apparently think they do. When they're on the court playing in the most important games of their career, they are not concerned about "who gets the glory" or any of that nonsense. It's the NBA finals for god sakes, not some pick up game. They are competitors. Highly paid competitors who are paid to perform to the best of their abilities, at all times.
Lebron just flat out had a poor series. It's really that simple. He missed shots he normally makes, committed turnovers he normally doesn't commit, and played sub-standard defense. None of that has ANYTHING to do with who's team it was, who's the first option, etc.....

Wade averaged 20 while Bosh averaged 11.85 in 2013
So LeBron and Bosh combined for 36 points in 2011, Wade and Bosh combined for 31.85
YET somehow LeBron won while Wade LOST
Either way you break it down Wade failed miserably.
Where was LeBron during those key games? In 2011, Bron choked away a 3-1 in game 4 by scoring only 8 points, and didn't deliver either in an elimination Game 6. In 2013 Wade was horrible games 1-3, yet with the season on the line, Wade put in an epic game 4 and a great game 7. LeBron didn't show up in big moments in 2011 whereas Wade did in 2013

Thank you. That's what it boils down to right there, and Lebron stans are always deflecting the issue by citing his overall numbers. Although his numbers were certainly sub-standard for him, without context they are decent, arguably better than Wade's in 2013. The difference is Wade came up big when it mattered and Lebron disappeared.

Show me another top 30 player that won a championship when his team was outscored in the Finals by >50 points when he played. Wade showed up in big moments in 2013? GTFOH. Conventional wisdom going in to G7 was that he shouldn't be playing in front of lousy shooters. Then they started G7 with Splitter on him. Such brazen disrespect was not because he had been playing so well.

So game 4 never happened? How did that Splitter defensive match up work out? Disrespect or not, Wade stepped up and had a big game. Even if you contend he struggled for much of the series, he overcame those struggles to put together a pair of clutch performances. Why couldn't Lebron overcome his struggles in 2011 and do the same? Where was Lebron's game 4 and 7 in 2011? GTFOH.

Are you seriously asking me if Wade showed up in big moments in 2013? How about some video evidence for an ignorant idiot like you
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKul1k36qm4 Did Wade not show up here with 32 pts, 6 rbs, 4 ast, and 6 stls? Did he not score 10 point in the 4th quarter with LeBron out and singlehandedly break the will of the Spurs?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_SFi5kkYTg And you said Wade was guarded by Splitter here? Well he wasn't get your facts straight. And did Wade not show up in the biggest game of his life unlike LeBron in 2011?
Also, Splitter guarded Wade in game 4, and you already saw how well that worked out for the Spurs.
To answer you question, I cannot. While it was true that Wade was apaulling for a lot of those finals, you cannot deny that he came up big when it mattered most as I have just shown you.

So LeBron knowing his team was rolling in the 1st 3 rounds with him as the 1st Option decides to let his 2nd Option lead them on the biggest stage? So he did sabotage the series by not being the 1st Option :applause:
smh...he didn't let Wade be 1st option, Lebron was asked by Spo to do so. it was the Heat's game plan and approach going into the Finals, fully reiterated by Spo post-finals discussions (I take it you didn't catch this?). it wasn't a bad plan either, knowing a combo of Stevenson/Jet could not stop a fully healthy DWade. so said, and so done....Lebron relinquished to the 2nd option role and fed Wade best he could.
result is yes, Wade could no longer lead the Heat as the 1st option. Lebron was and is the better player at the time and should have been rightfully designated instead of this foolish trial of 1a/1b. also, Lebron gets no pass as he should have saw the ship sinking with Spo's idiotic game plan and just bulldozed (pun intended) to his normal 1st option self (as he did in the prior series against the better defensive Celtics and Bulls) and the Heat are surely winning 2011. surprisingly he's always done it his way in Cleveland and even stints during that first season, but who knows what his thoughts were on this go around. maybe he felt that some direction from higher ups (Spo/Riley) would get him that elusive 1st ring if he bought into the game plan. :confusedshrug:
however, this is by no way a bad thing in the way the finals happened. sure we all would have loved a 1st yr ring (Heat fans only lol) but i doubt we are even repeating or going to 4 straight finals if this finals loss didn't happen. it brought greatness in all forms for the Heat. the Heat reformed themselves with one of the best defensive teams to suffocate the opponent. Lebron retooled and took over the NBA once again from beginning to end (even through today for the most part), Wade (tho coming off a GREAT finals) knew the Heat would only win with him at 2nd option and not tussling for 1st option with Lebron, willingly relinquished his success atop and accepted 2nd command to Lebron. we saw one of the best elimination performances against the Celtics, and then the Heat's 2nd title against the uprising Thunder. outright dominance once again during the 27 game win streak with a healthy (but shortlived) Wade a couple years after. a great Finals game 4 by Wade, and a huge 4 qtr comeback by Lebron in game 6 leading up to another avoidance of an eliminating game with the most clutch shot by Jesus, and then capped off by the best Finals game 7 in NBA history.
none of this happens without that Finals loss IMO
