Their stats and athleticism mirror each other. Kobe is more pretty because of his eyes.

Their main weakness is that they are both selfish to a fault. It has nothing to do with big ***** because AI has it.

honestly AI played better than Kobe when it matters. Kobe just always have better team around him. I meant WAY BETTER

AI kinda did that to himself as well. Not a lot of players could play with AI. At least Kobe figures out way to utilize talent. AI always goes for commando iso.

I thought Monta Ellis was going to be the next "oversized" AI after his last two full seasons with the Warriors. His shot attempts just kept on going down however. Tragedy

Perhaps, but Kobe is and was just overall better at the game. If you replace Kobe with Iverson during those 3-peat years there is no way that the Lakers get by the Blazers in 00' or the Kings in 02'. Not saying AI wouldn't win titles with Shaq, I'm just saying he'd win less than Kobe did.

So, you're saying that a guy who single-handedly beat both Kobe and Shaq in game 1 of the finals won't be able to win as many with Shaq?

This means his is a really great player.
Because many ballplayers are held back by their size. Being taller and doing the same thing as good as the little guys is the definition of a great NBA Player. Size matters.

I watched Germany vs Turkey yesterday and Muhamed looks like a dwarf and i am just one inch taller than him.

Kobe wouldn't make the playoffs with those Cavalier teams let alone go deep like LeBron always managed to do.

Kobe, by a product of being an inferior player, was drafted in the middle of the first round.

He joined up with arguably the most dominant player in history and arguably the best coach in history. Carried to multiple rings.

When he drove Shaq out of town for being a cancerous jackass, he soon realized he couldn't do anything on his own like LeBron.

It's well documented he wanted out of LAL in 2007. To the hometown rival Clippers!

Kobe is a better player than AI, no debate at all.

AI was a better athlete though, one of the best ever.

Both are the toughest SOBs to ever play.

If AI was 6'6", he would be better than Kobe, possibly the best player of all time.

cool post based strictly on hypotheticals. so i guess i can confidently say prime kobe would have 3 peated with lebrons heat team. even with wade and bosh "under performing" as many lebron apologist like to say.
