Wilt is a joke
Just a regular season circus freak who looked good against smaller white dudes
Couldn't produce when it mattered and lost in the weakest era of basketball

And the defensive rating (the demonstrated ability of the opposing teams to limit points on a per possession basis over the course of the entire year)????

I don't like setting baseline benchmarks like those, because they assume that there's a linear progression in terms of minutes or possessions, and there's not.
The actual (non-linear) difference won't be large enough to get Jordan off the top spot, but anything that sets a standard is pretty misleading in that regard.

Per 100 pos is more valuable than just raw PPG IMO. Durant in the '14 playoffs, scored 29 PPG on solid efficiency with 43 MPG, and everyone watching said his impact was low. He took a lot of possessions to score his 29.

His own hometown paper labeled him Mr. Unreliable when Tony Allen bullied him on the court. :lol
