Holding training camp in Miami rather than just have it where his team reside.

I find this pretty disrespectful since its not even a neutral site and Miami is Lebron's home. He doesn't even live in Cleveland except during the season as Miami is his permanent home.

If the team can be stationed in Miami and fly to Cleveland for its home games then I believe he would take that opportunity essentially being a homeless team with the name Cavs on the front of it.

This is also telling his current teammates how better it is to train in Miami.

It's like if MJ took the Wizards to have camp in Chicago.

Boo hoo LeBron likes warm weather.Jesus Christ, you're more sensitive than Cavs fans and we're the ones who have a right to beef.

So, what has warm weather have to do with training?

Nothing. It's a damn excuse.

It's not like they play outdoors. It is played inside.:hammerhead:

If not in Miami then it would have been in LA or Vegas.

I'm pretty sure Lebron sold his home in Miami not too long ago.

I'll have to side with LeKang on this one; who wants to live in Cleveland??

Memphis is holding training camp on the campus of UC Santa Barbara.

How disrespectful.

Cleveland's like an abused wife/girlfriend at this point. Only thing that would complete the picture is if Bron wore a wife-beater t-shirt.
It's true as a Clevelander, it's damn true, we're still recovering. We have monthly counseling selling in the Quicken Loans arena to fight the nightmares/cold sweats of being ringless.

I'm not one to normally defend LeBron James, but you are talking straight out of your anus, particularly on the bolded part.

LeBron actually recently sold his former mansion in Miami. His home is in Bath Township, Ohio, which is between Cleveland and Akron... not far from the Cavs' practice facility in Independence, Ohio.

This is a pre-camp situation and almost every team holds them in either LA, Vegas or Miami. Talk about a reach. He actually lived in his Bath Township home in the offseason even when he played for the Heat.

In reality, the situation is exactly the opposite as you are attempting to present it.

Hate reaching all time high levels :hammerhead:

Comon, if you can't understand why a player wants to stay living in a nice city with nice beaches, women and nightlife, then I guess you don't leave that basement too much.

9empire racking up basement hours :oldlol:

Lebron is the leader of the team. Makes sense to have the team play near where he lives?

He lives in Bath Township, Ohio. He no longer owns a home in Miami. These are easily verifiable facts.

This is true.

Only that I'm pointing out that Lebron had only up to recently moved from Miami and enjoys it there. It's a great holiday destination and an excellent place for the team to play ball while heading down to the beach to unwind or whatever.

9empire is attacking Lebron for "making" the team play in Miami instead of Cleveland. I'm sure he didn't have to twist their arm too much :oldlol:

It's usually an open invite, players who are busy with other commitments don't go and the person arranging it picks a holiday destination for them to work out and bond in. They usually host and pay for it all too. Most teams have a guy who does this for them over the off season. Jameer used to do it in Orlando, I've heard of Rondo doing it in Boston, Shaq did it with the Lakers at least once that I read about. Happens all the time.
