so when ISH collectively said the Cavs lost because Irving and Love cannot play, that was downplaying Irving's impact?

interesting...

What Irving impact????

People shit on Wade being injured all the time, guess what, Wade missed 2 out of 154 playoff games in his career, including 1 during the big 3 era.

Irving missed 9 or 10 (can't remember) playoff games out of 20 games this year ALONE. And he's out till January which means he'll play less games than Wade in 2014.

Guy can't stay on the court.

TT is a rebounding beast but a mediocre rim protector and a player who can't score outside of 3 feet. Not even close to all-star impact.

Lebron CARRIED Cleveland last season. Idgaf what his shooting percentage was in the playoffs. He was a 1 man team.

TT is a negative RAPM player that kills the offense - there would be no need to downplay his impact if it wasn't overrated

LeBron fans as usuall.

When he looses (quite often, see 1,5*/6) it is the teams fault but when he wins (again 1,5*/6 times) he is the king that did it all. :facepalm

1. He missed 7 playoff games and played in 13.

2. He isn't "out until January." No one knows for certain when he is going to be ready to come back and the Cavs have stated that they will take it slow, since his knee cap was snapped into two pieces. But, having said that, Haynes was the only person on the planet to report that Irving "could" be out until January, and it was always prefaced with "could". Meanwhile, every other Cavs beat reporter has refuted that as being remotely accurate. Windhorst said flatly, "he will be back before January" and Terry Pluto of the Plain Dealer has also reported otherwise.

Like I said at the time of the Haynes report, which everyone took as gospel, there was nothing new there. He simply took the worst possible scenario and turned it into a news item that would generate clicks.

No one knows when he is going to be back, but the Cavs believe it will he "well before" January.

Btw, we are both posting in a troll thread.

rebounding/crashing the boards comes pretty handy when you're shooting less than 40%. us laker fans would know

tt is a very good and versatile big defender, which is a must for any team with championship aspirations.

He's more than just a rebounder.

As a huge lebron fan, he is only good when teaming up with 2 other all stars.

Getting better on offense too, that little push shot he's got is getting more and more consistent.

It's mostly LeBron only fans who try to downplay Irving, TT seems to get shit on alot on this board though, I know I'm in the minority here but he's worth every penny of the max in my eyes. He proved it in this latest playoff run.
