I am enjoying watching the tennis, but to me it seems like a given that top athletes dope. In pretty much every sport there is an enormous advantage to increased endurance/strength, even if it's just to be able to train longer and harder
At this point we know that pretty much all pro cyclists in the 80's-00's were doping. There is not much financial incentive relative to other sports, and yet despite the spotlight on doping, the public shaming of dopers in the sport, and ramped up efforts to stomp it out, there are still cyclists getting caught all the time.
If that's happening in a sport that barely pays and where they are making huge efforts to monitor the athletes, I can't imagine what's going on in basketball, soccer, and tennis where there are huge amounts of money on the line and not any anti-doping efforts.
