Teams both Kobe and LeBron played in the playoffs in the same year
2008- Celtics
2009- Magic
2010- Celtics
2011- Mavs
2012- Thunder
In all 5 series LeBron has played better and put better stats than Kobe, all 5 times (Even 2011 go look it up). Anyone find this surprising? It shouldn't be if you're an astute observer of basketball.
There's never been a time where Kobe performed better against a team than LeBron.
There goes the argument, buh buh Kobe beat the Dwight coward team that beat LeBron, or Kobe (6/24) beat the Celtics that made LeBron quit :oldlol:

Interestingly, there are several overlaps with MJ too:
1) An old Shawn Marion locked up Lebron in 2011 Finals.. Otoh:
Jordan GW over prime Shawn Marion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pjo06p5zchg&t=0m13s
MJ drops 41 on prime Shawn Marion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pd9ayPlqCMg
MJ over Marion in all-star game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPmPu-JxJ9A&t=0m41s
2) An old Ray Allen locked up Kobe in the 2010 Finals - compare that to MJ making Ray Allen look like a shrimp next to him and destroying him for 44 points during Ray Allen's first 20 ppg season in 1998:

3) As a bonus, here's MJ toying with Bruce Bowen, one of the guys Kobe used to struggle against:

By that logic Chauncey Billups > Jordan as Jordan had the worst series of his finals career vs Gary and Chauncey shit on him in 2004 finals.

Did you look up the actual stats?
Chauncey in 2004 Finals: 20/3/5
Jordan in 1996 Finals: 27/5/5

Basketball is more than stats. Chauncey was more efficient and ran the offense, while Jordan's inability to play an optimal offense and shot-Jack put his team in a dangerous situation
The Pistons were severe underdogs and won handily in 5, while the Bulls should've dominated, but Jordan's lack of elite off-ball scoring on high efficiency gave the sonics a chance

Jordan's inability to play an optimal offense
The guy went 6/6 in the most optimal offense of the 80's and 90's
Jordan put his team in a dangerous situation
MJ averaged 32 ppg thru 3 games to get his team a 3-0 series lead and guarantee victory, while his #2 (Pippen) performed worse than any #2 ever has (15 ppg on 34%)
So keep dreaming bud... You must have some good stuff you're smoking.
