Remember that Klay was shit in the finals? Harden bad, he was absolutely invisible.
If Klay had shown up, it wouldn't matter if Iriving played or not. Warriors won without their starting center and without any contribution from their max contract SG

Give lebron even someone serviceable like Nick young and they win the finals. Irving is overkill.

Doubt it. LeBron needs more to win.

Yes. If you guys have common sense, and play basketball. Irving is a much better player than Dellavedova. The Cavaliers lacked scoring in the Finals.

He averaged 39/12/8 in the NBA Finals.

He lacked support. The Cavaliers team without Love and Irving were offensively challenged. They played against the no.1 offensive team and defensive team in the NBA. They were very lucky to win 2 games.

You're comparing a player having the ability to play and not doing well to a player not even able to play due to injury:facepalm
You're also disregarding his Game 2 performance and defense.
The Bogut statement was just stupid.

The guy is a terrible troll. ISH needs a RealGM Style Moderating. The moderators in that website banned and deleted troll threads, and posts.

So those stats are irrelevant in the context of the topic

Obviously the do, they went to overtime with a hobble Kyrie and won 2 without him.
I thought this was already known.

We need guys like you next season. I have a feeling that the Cavs are going to win the NBA title next season it reminds me of the 2012 NBA Season where they shutdown the haters.

I think yes. The Cavs huge gap in that series was having another perimeter player who could score or make a play. If JR weren't such an epic choker that might have made the difference too.

I think it's dependent on Kyrie's health. Love will have a beast season this year I think now that has a comfort zone. Role players know their role. Lebron will probably coast really hard in the RS.
But if Kyrie isn't healthy I don't see them beating the Spurs, or maybe even a healthy OKC is KD and Westbrook live up to expectations next year.

They still have Mo Williams and Dellavedova. They can limit's Kyrie's playing time, and make him healthy in the playoffs. Spurs added Aldridge, but I can see Duncan regressing when he turns 40.

It's a tough question to answer since the offense (and even defense) would have changed substantially for cleveland. theres no way Irving would have been happy standing on the perimeter watching Lebron iso possession after possession, waiting for kick out. so instead, there'd be a 1a/1b split on the offensive load. Hell, they may have even tried going back to blatt's ball movement/motion offense. All this means is lebron's "godly" numbers would have diminished. That doesnt mean the team loses, but it doesnt mean they win either. And if were being honest, lebron looked almost unstoppable in those constant ISO situations. If his shot was falling, it would have been game over. but it wasnt and the rest is history.

if bran shoots even just a decent percentage the cavs probably win
bump 27% beyond 5 feet up to 37%
bump 35% vs iggy up to 45%
and the cavs probably squeak out 2 more wins
no word of a lie
the cavs should have won anyway

mozgov = shaq (both 7'1 / 7'2)
thompson > malone (self explanatory)
dalladova >>>>>>> payton (delladova outplayed the MVP!)
jrsmith >>> george (jr smith is an allstar)
schumpert >>> fox (schumper is an allstar)
and lebron still couldn't do it.
