Its a distortion of what actually happened because there's a subset of people on the internet who take great pleasure in playing up to online gimmicks. John Brown traded ownerships with Irv Levin after the 78 season. Levin took the Braves and moved them to San Diego. Brown took the Celtics, who never left Boston.

There is no "strictest of strict" interpretations. Its spin doctoring to no legitimate end other than being a ****.
