Cancer sucks and it's tough to see how much weight Sager has lost. I hope he's able to make his goal of broadcasting at the start of this NBA season.

Thoughts and prayers out to him and his family.

Ah, damn. :(

Slightly predating the onset of his leukemia, there were subtle differences at best as to how his appearance changed compared to when he started working on the NBA sidelines. Now, he's hardly recognizable.

Not only that; his voice has enervated as well, compounding his voice with his appearance to his aging visage.

I suppose I saw this appearance-drastic change coming, as he already noticeably lost hair follicles and downscaled his weight, but it's hard not to remark on how disparate he looks now when it is the first time I have seen his current appearance in that long.

Even with a loss of elegance, I'm sure we'll have the same, revered personality that we'll come to know if he makes it back to the court sidelines; but considering how much he's appearingly aged in appearance and vocality, it'll be hard not to think of the lasting effects of cancer on him. :(

Best luck to him.
